HKIAS Visiting Fellow Professor Tei-Wei Kuo elected Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors

Professor Tei-Wei Kuo, HKIAS Visiting Fellow, has been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) for the 2018 class. The honour is the highest professional distinction accorded to academic inventors who have demonstrated a prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society.

Professor Kuo has made an incredible impact in the field of computer science and information engineering. His expertise is on real-time systems, embedded systems, and non-volatile memory system and software. Professor Kuo is the Distinguished Professor at the National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He is an ACM Fellow and an IEEE Fellow.
