Prof Xun-Li Wang delivered a speech at the 110^th Anniversary of Physics at Peking University

Professor Xun-Li Wang, Executive Director of Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study (HKIAS) and Chair Professor of Department of Physics at City University of Hong Kong (CityU), attended the 110^th anniversary celebration of Physics at Peking University on 14 October.

At the celebration ceremony, Professor Wang, who is also an alumnus of the Department of Physics at Peking University, remarked in his speech that the education he received from his alma mater and the guidance of his teachers helped him develop a career he is passionate about. He introduced the strategic initiatives and significant achievements of CityU in recent years in the field of large-scale scientific facilities and applications. He believes that HKIAS would strengthen cooperation and exchange with Peking University to explore the future development in Physics together.
