Robert O. Ritchie 教授 (前資深院士)

Professor Robert O. Ritchie is the H.T. & Jessie Chua Distinguished Professor of Engineering, Professor in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also Senior Faculty Scientist in the Materials Sciences Division of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and an affiliated member of the UCSF/UC Berkeley Bioengineering group. He was Chairman of the UC Berkeley Materials Science & Engineering Department from 2005 to 2011.

劉錦川教授 (前資深院士)

Professor C.T. Liu is a member of National Academy of Engineering (NAE), USA, a foreign member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and an academician of Academia Sinica Taiwan. He is currently a University Distinguished Professor of City University of Hong Kong. He served as a Professor and Distinguished Research Professor at University of Tennessee between 2005 and 2009, and a Distinguished Professor at Auburn University, USA between 2005 and 2010. He is a world leader in the field of intermetallic and metallic materials.

李大潛教授 (前資深院士)

Professor Li Tatsien (Li Daqian) is one of the best specialists, worldwide, of the theory and numerical analysis of nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equations, a domain where major difficulties abound, as well as a domain of fundamental importance in applications. These include in particular nonlinear elasticity and gas dynamics.

姚大衛教授

David Yao received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Toronto (1983), was Assistant Professor at Columbia University (1983-86), Associate Professor at Harvard University (1986-88), and since 1988 has been a full Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University, where he has held the Thomas Alva Edison Chair (1992-98), and since 2012 the inaugural Piyasombatkul Family Chair.

顏寧教授

Dr. Yan’s primary research interest has been in the structural and mechanistic investigation of membrane transport proteins that are of tremendous physiological, pathophysiological, and pharmaceutical significance. She reported the first structures of the human glucose transporters GLUT1 and GLUG3, the eukaryotic voltage-gated sodium and calcium channels, and a number of proteins involved in sterol metabolism. Her present research program focuses on structure-guided mechanistic understanding and drug discovery for pain relief. Her achievements have won her numerous accolades.

薛其坤教授

Prof. Qi-Kun Xue received his BSc in Shan-Dong University in 1984, and PhD degree in condensed matter physics from Institute of Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1994. From 1994 to 1999, he worked at Tohoku University, Japan and Department of Physics, North Carolina State University, USA. He became a professor at Institute of Physics, CAS in 1999. He was elected into The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAE) in 2005. Since 2005, he has been a professor in Department of Physics, Tsinghua University.

汪正平教授

Professor Ching Ping Wong, is currently a Regents’ Professor and the Charles Smithgall Institute- Endowed Chair in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GT). He was Emeritus Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong where he was the Dean of Faculty of Engineering (2010-2018).
