郭大维教授毕业于国立台湾大学资讯工程学系 (1986)，并于美国德州大学奥斯汀分校电脑科学系取得硕士 (1990) 与博士 (1994) 学位。郭教授曾担任国立台湾大学代理校长，现职为中央研究院资讯科技创新研究中心特聘研究员兼主任，目前亦为国立台湾大学资讯工程学系、资讯网路多媒体研究所、电子工程研究所特聘教授。

郭大维教授曾担任即时系统最顶尖国际学术会议IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium (RTSS) 之议程委员会主席 (2007) 与大会主席 (2008)。目前担任国际学术期刊ACM Transactions on Cyber-Physical Systems之总编辑，亦担任Journal of Real-Time Systems、ACM Transactions on Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems (TODAES) 与 IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics之编辑，郭教授为 ACM SIGAPP的副主席与IEEE 即时系统技术委员会 (IEEE TC-RTS) 的执行委员（Executive Committee Member)。

Professor Jihong Yu is the Director of the International Center of Future Science and works at the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry at Jilin University in China.

Professor Yu received her B.S. (1989), M.S. (1992) and Ph.D. (1995) from Jilin University, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1996-1997 and Tohoku University in Japan during 1997-1998. She has been a Professor in the Chemistry Department at Jilin University since 1999.

Professor Ovid J. L. Tzeng is a distinguished research Fellow and an Academician of Academia Sinica. He was the Chancellor of the University System of Taiwan (UST), the Minister of Education, the Minister without Portfolio of the Executive Yuan, and the Minister of Council for Cultural Affairs. He is an outstanding researcher in cognitive neuroscience and neurolinguistics and an experienced administrator in academic institutions.

Professor Srolovitz is the author of 500 papers on topics in materials theory and simulations ranging from defects (surfaces, grain boundaries, dislocations, point defects), microstructure evolution (grain growth, dislocations, stress effects, phase transformations), deformation (nanomaterials, dislocation motion, creep), and film growth (sputtering, evaporation, CVD) and has an h-index of 92 with more than 30,000 literature citations.

Professor Robert O. Ritchie is the H.T. & Jessie Chua Distinguished Professor of Engineering, Professor in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also Senior Faculty Scientist in the Materials Sciences Division of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and an affiliated member of the UCSF/UC Berkeley Bioengineering group. He was Chairman of the UC Berkeley Materials Science & Engineering Department from 2005 to 2011.
