HKIAS Summer Institute

Summer Institute on Quality, Reliability, and Data Science

The Summer Institute on Quality, Reliability, and Data Science (QRDS) was held at HKIAS in mid-May. The Summer Institute consists of two parts, Workshops (16-19 May) and a Special Symposium (21-22 May). Speakers and scholars from diverse backgrounds presented lectures and workshops on topics related to Quality, Reliability, and Data Science, offering participants an in-depth understanding of the latest research in these fields.

The Summer Institute aimed at providing early-career scientists and postdoctoral fellows with a platform for in-depth discussion and collaboration among participants. In the workshops, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with experienced researchers. In addition, it offered participants the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in the field.

The Summer Institute is a new HKIAS program in 2023. It is held in the summertime and usually lasts 1-4 weeks. The Summer Institute is devoted to quality, deep thinking, and knowledge sharing. Those who attend the lectures and workshops have the opportunity to broaden their horizons. In addition to benefiting participants, the experience has benefited the HKIAS community, as participants have brought a fresh perspective to their respective fields.

Over the years, HKIAS has organized numerous workshops, distinguished lectures, and forums. The HKIAS has established a network of academics and university faculty members in an effort to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. In bringing together the brightest minds in science, HKIAS is committed to seeking the truth, advancing knowledge, and bettering humanity.
